Our Approach
At Lighthouse Prep ATL, learning is hands-on, joyful, and grounded in real work. We’re a creative K–12 microschool built for students who thrive in small learning environments.
We blend the best of project-based learning, self directed learning, and Charlotte Mason-style curiosity with a strong academic foundation. Students don’t just memorize facts — they build things, test ideas, research deeply, and create meaningful work they’re proud to share.
What We Believe
- Students learn best through doing.
Projects, experiments, design challenges, writing workshops, and real-world exploration are at the heart of our curriculum. - Small communities make a big difference.
Our small class sizes allow for individualized attention, mentorship, and a school culture where every student is seen. - Interests matter.
Students have time and space to pursue their passions — art, coding, storytelling, marine biology, fashion design, robotics, and more. - Character and creativity are essential.
We value curiosity, responsibility, independence, and collaboration just as much as academics. - Learning should feel meaningful.
Students work toward real exhibitions, science fairs, entrepreneurship events, and showcases throughout the year.

The Lighthouse Difference
We’re not a traditional school — and proudly so. We’re a place where students grow into confident, capable, self-directed learners who know how to think, build, create, and lead.
